This painting depicts the magic moments I used to have while playing in the woods as a child. My sisters and I would pretend to be witches, making magic potions and speaking to all the woodland creatures, including fairies and otherworldly spirits. I named this piece Spirit of the Woods because it reminds me of little spirit orbs floating about containing all the seeds that bring the forest to life. It’s earthy and magical and feels like your peeking into a secret.
